I love your confidence, but he wasn't good enough to take the Broncos, who EVERYBODY says had a better roster (except me, I didn't see it), to a .500 record. In fact, he wasn't good enough to beat out the guy that took them to 7-10.
I hope you're right, and Pete can fix what went wrong with him, but his year 2 and year 3 performances show nothing to indicate he's an NFL starter.
Geno Smith is a roughly just-sub .500 guy, IMO. Not good enough to win games on his own, but good enough to keep us competitive. If Lock is good enough to beat him out, then maybe you're right. I don't think he is... but I worry they're going to give him the starting job to find out.
