I saw some. It looked a lot better than the Pete Carroll pre-season games I was used to. I think they are on track.
I also remember Mora's first year as coach; the Seahawks went 4-0 in pre-season, so I'm not crowning them yet.

For those of you that watched the game, what did you think of Howell and the O line?
I watched our right tackle get beat and had Howell all but sacked but somehow he spun out of it and threw it out of bounds. That was the theme for Sam he threw 21 TD but 20 picks with DC. The broadcasters were playing up that angle a bunch. Sam looked OK. The line looked OK.

Was Fant the RT on that play? And who was playing LT most of the game (i'm assuming Cross didn't play much if at all)?

This weekend's game got me to thinking (and of course it's very early), but I'm wondering how much offense we're going to see with this team. The new coach strikes me as a Belichick type. Potentially very boring football, but effective.

Thoughts?

If they convert the 3rd or fourth and goal from the 1 and don't miss the extra point they score 24 in game 1 of the preseason with the back up and 3rd string QBs. The offense will be above average and maybe even top 10.

In the early days of PC, the preseason was must see TV. We were very young, very hungry and very deep.
I didn't get to watch much of it, but what I saw was fun. Love the idea of actually trying to stop someone instead of hoping they screw up.

I did post once, but I guess no one else caught it when Avril said the guys must love having a defensive oriented coach!?

I just read that Brock said that Christian Haynes was one of the young guys that played well. That is great news.

btw why are they making a big deal of McIntosh and Houlani being in a battle. Are they only keeping 3 RBs or what? I has been four in recent years..

I have always said Spring Training and Preseason games are usually like foreplay. You are happy when it starts but shortly after it does you are ready to move on to the main event. lol But Chad and I actually had a great time watching it on my laptop. Last season we likely wouldn't have even bothered because we would have known it was just a different flavor of the same PC BS.

Fair enough, but consider the opposition. The Chargers were b-a-d.
