I'm just saying it wouldn't have mattered. You still would've been looking at a 4th quarter crunch time situation unless you think the Hawks were going to run away with it. Based on what I saw Rodgers doing, I don't think that was going to happen. So the minute the Hawks were able to close the gap to a 5 point game in the 4th quarter any real impact of 1st half game planning was out the window IMO. Had they gone pass happy in the first quarter, Wilson may have thrown 4 picks and it could have been 35-0 Packers at the half good night. You're assuming that there would've been great results with your fantasy alternate gameplan, and you're denigrating Pete's plan with the benefit of hindsight. I think Pete likes to use the first half to gain information and the second half to win the game. I see nothing wrong with at least attempting to establish some run game before going one dimensional. They may have had a better chance to win if they had run different plays in the first half, but really even the pass plays were not doing much first half. I think things started opening up when the Packers started getting fatigued. It's football. You never know what's going to happen. Wilson could've passed instead of handing off to Lynch, and he could've thrown a pick 6. Very difficult for me to complain about a gameplan when Pete put the players in position to win the game.Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 2:30 amYou are making no sense. Do you praise people when your QB throws four 1st quarter picks? The offensive game plan for two quarters sucked, I don’t understand your insistence on backing it. Have at it, you look foolish.

Once again, if you never have the lead, it's hard to win. And when you fall behind multiple scores in the first half in damn near every playoff game you play? It is worth mentioning.

It would be far worse if it was a trend he had for home division games. When you're on the road, you're playing one of the top 2 teams in the conference and they're coming off a Bye Week. Some of the very most difficult wins to come by in the NFL. This would've been the first one in franchise history, and they've won 3 NFC Championships.Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2020 3:28 amOnce again, if you never have the lead, it's hard to win. All the more reason to use an offense that works in the first quarter. But, why start now I guess.

The Chiefs were down 24-0 before their offense got rolling.
How did Wilson fall off the MVP wagon?
Right about the time we lost all of our RBs. Lynch and Homer weren't bad. They could have gotten the rock more in fact, but they weren't the same guys who gave us the #3 rushing attack in the league. The Hawks had to go into this game pass first when Russ is at his best run first. Setup that play action and then take deep shots down the field.
Punting down five with 2:30 to go. That was insane. Even if the Hawks turn the ball over on downs, they could've held the Packers to a field goal and kept the game to one possession.
