Hard to justify this pick. I would have I preferred we went with Murray or even Queen. How they hell do you get out maneuvered. What does that even mean? They either better be using one of these day 2's on to ship to South Florida or be putting the finishing touches on a deal with Clowney. Now the guys I want we aren't gonna get. Claypool, Madubuike, Chinn any of those guys would be great but doubt we get any of them. Either way, somethings gotta give.

Murray was gone before our pick. also we could still easily get one or two of those guys you mention. and plenty of other good ones as well.
this pick tonight doesnt make sense in the vacuum of just the first round. hopefully by the end of the weekend, or at least by training camp after a deal, the wisdom will be more apparent. right now it isnt, other than a clear signal they are moving on from KJ and Mychal, and a clear sense of desperation at trying to defend Kyler Murray and the speedy fleet of Niner RBs.

We flat aren’t better with this pick. Is he better than KJ or Kendricks?

Nope

Just cheaper.

How do you think the Packers feel? They were in the the NFC Championship and traded up for their backup QB next year.

my packer fan friend is thrilled with their pick. he likes Love a lot better than Herbert, and sees him sitting and learning for a couple years as he is still pretty raw. cant imagine rodgers very happy bout it though.

not as important at LB, more for edges and corners.

True. But pass deflections and pass defense it is sure nice.

Yeah, because grooming the next MLB is so much better than getting the next Franchise QB,. WTF?

Once again, we are no better today than we were yesterday, and the three first round picks before are either out of the league, on the PUP list after playing sparingly and LJ Collier. Yep, we should just believe.

To be fair, he's 6'0 but has 33 inch arms. Length is only as important as the dude's arms.

Most 6'0 people don't have 33 inch arms.
