Yeah I was thinking about Aurora roller blading with head phones on Venice beach all weekend instead of watching the playoffs to protest the terrible NFL product.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 11:33 pmWow the whole group combined has 16 points this weekend! 4 way tie at the top with 4 points each haha. We all suck.
But damn, who had three games, all tied with 10 seconds left, won by the underdog with walk off field goals? Insanity. It's great!

This next week-end looks like a slam dunk. The choke-artist Rams versus a team that owns them, and the Chiefs with Mahomes in juggernaut mode versus a decent but not-ready-for-the-show Bengals unit.
Chiefs and 49ers in the Bowl. I guarandamntee it.

My initial thoughts are to agree with the above. Let's see if I stick to my guns or not.
Part of me wonders if beating the Rams three times is too much to ask. Look at the Saints in the playoffs last year against the Bucs. Of course, the Saints then went and beat them twice this regular season as well, but were home for January. Crazy stuff.

... as well as the Seahawks and Raiders in '84. Maybe the Rams will pull their heads out but i doubt it.Michael K. wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 7:00 pmPart of me wonders if beating the Rams three times is too much to ask. Re: Pick'em league
Does the way that McVey use his backs confuse anyone else? Henderson was the man last year, then he wasn't. They acted like Akers was the best thing since sliced bread summer of 2020, but then used some guy, I think named Brown, and Henderson. Then? Akers was the guy again at the end of the season, and again, this summer. Then? He gets hurt, Henderson is McVey's guy, according to reports, but they go out and trade for Michell, only to lean on Henderson...until they don't. They Michell is the guy, until it's Akers....who fumbles twice yesterday!
I think Henderson is hurt, but Sony Michell is a veteran who has been to a few playoff games, been a part of this before. I guess you want to stick with Akers to try and build his confidence, but it damn near cost them a trip to the NFCCG!

Seriously, I'd love to see the Bengals beat the Rams, but the NFL won't allow it. They've wanted the Rams to have a home game in the Super Bowl all season.

You must be confusing me with Dtrain (he of the 3-7 record in playoff picks). I, on the other hand, have a much more respectable 4-6 record.

If the Bengals beat the Rams the Rams would still have had a home game in the SB.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:04 pmBengals and Rams it is, then!Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 6:26 pmThis next week-end looks like a slam dunk.
