Hugh Millen believes they should be targeting DK at least 10 times a game.
So he can drop four instead of two? Look, he’s a stud, but two straight up drops in five throws? Lockett was nine for nine....wasn’t DK’s night. His drop cost us four points. Eleven down the stretch is much better than seven. That shit drives me nuts, he didn’t do anything to deserve more looks that night AND we won, but Hugh, the guy that threw like nine NFL passes in his life, wants to question who Russ gave the ball to?
Hugh threw over 900+passes in the NFL, hmmmm.... I wonder which maybe knows what he is talking about and one which obviously doesn't.

So your genius ass thinks we should have forced five more throws to DK in a game we won because we didnt? Not sure Hugh wants your ass weighing in.

We won the fucking game. One guy dropped 2 balls in his fucking bread basket, the other caught all 9 thrown his way. One guy was the guy we went to in two of three games we lost, then dropped two big passes in a game we won....but he is the one Hugh wants us forcing it to.

Did you fucking watch the ball Tyler caught for a TD? DK doesnt catch that. Jesus...get a fucking clue!

We won the game, and we want fewer looks for the guy with no drops in 9 looks, than the guy that dropped 3 of 5. You cant make this shit up! Bill, for the love of god, STFU. The more you dont? The dumber you sound.

We won, but let's bitch because the guy that dropped 40% of his opportunities didn't get more opportunities. Cant

Condotta is a beacon in a swamp of Seattle Sports media.
Condotta: On the surface, this did look like the Seahawks making Wilson more of a Sous-chef for the night instead of running the whole kitchen. The Seahawks finished with a 31-to-28 run-to-pass ratio, only the second time this year they have run it more than thrown it (30-28 against New England). But a deeper look tells a little different story. Of those runs, seven were scrambles by Wilson off dropbacks (for 43 yards), via Pro Football Focus. Another was a kneel-down. That would make for a 36-to-25 pass-to-run split that would be in keeping with where Seattle has basically been all year. Also, that the Seahawks never trailed played into it — they did not have an offensive possession during which they were ahead the previous two games, inevitably leading to more throwing. But why is Wilson running not considered as letting him cook, anyway? It’s a huge part of his game that also greatly affects the defense in every way. It seemed like Thursday night Wilson was looking to run more and take what was there instead of forcing things — his 10 overall runs were his most this season. So I think Russ was still cooking quite a bit; he just was using a different recipe.

I'm not sure "who" Condotta is talking to, but for me, Russ looking for and taking off running when the pocket gets sketchy is the EPITOME of Russ "cooking". I know he throws a great deep ball. I've often pointed out he can make every throw in the playbook. It also helps when the RBs are clicking too. I feel like either he or the coaches have tried to dissuade him from doing it, but in my mind, it is ALWAYS the answer if the offense is stuck in neutral.

There are plenty of “who’s” basically saying Pete demanded we run it. Hell, the two idiots in the booth on Thursday were saying it.

So you think DK was going to drop 40% of any additional balls thrown to him on Thursday even though his drop rate on the season is way below that?

Nope, but what I do know is one guy dropped zero out of 9, the other guy dropped 2 of 5, didnt get another target, we won the fucking game, and people are complaining. DK didn't deserve more looks.

Once again, Lockett was the forgotten man, and we lost two games. He catches 9 of 9, we FUCKING WIN, and guys complain?

Fucking stupid. DK is a stud, he had a shitty game, get over it. The man crush some have on him is a little much. He played poorly, but somehow Russ needed to force it to him more? David Moore made a bonehead play and didn't get a target after either. I guess Russ should have forced it more to him too?

It is really funny how you talk out of both sides of your mouth. You, Sibelius, and Gametime spend almost every post denigrating some facet of the Seahawks. I stick up for them, then you decide to dump a profanity laced tirade on me that makes no sense because i never said what you are accusing me of. All I said was Hugh Millen was a better judge of things than you or your 13yo son are because he has much more real life experience. Did I say not to throw Tyler the ball? No. Was I complaining about how we won this game? No. Did I say you or your son knew nothing about football? No. Did Hugh said that DK should be getting 10 throws per game? Yes, because DK is our best athlete and virtually unguardable. Did Hugh mean in this game? No. There are lots of throws that go to lesser receivers that could go to DK in the future.

You might want to reconsider how you treat people. Try being human instead of being the southend of a northbound moving donkey.

Sorry that i can't stick up for a GM that hasn't had an above average draft since 2012 and the DC for one of the worst defenses of all time. You can carry that torch but i'll save my praise for the ones who excel at their jobs.
