On a side note, the trade of the #30 pick in the third round netted us all these players.

#47 - Marquise Blair
#64 - D.K. Metcalf
#120 - Gary Jennings, Jr.
#132 - Ugochukwu Amadi
#204 - Travis Homer

They all made the final roster. Not a bad piece of drafting.
Its like JS came here really smart, got dumb for a few years and now is the Einstein of GMs.

Ursua made the team too... 7th round pick Find me another team that has drafted this well in the 7th? Carson, Moore and Ursua still on team . Carson is the man . Moore would be starting and Ursua looks like a steal.

I think the only draft pick not on the active roster is Christmas who is on the Pup list.

winners and losers...winner
John Schneider, again: When was the last time he lost a trade? Schneider took a risk when he sent Seattle's rising pass rusher Frank Clark to Kansas City instead of extending him. But the Seahawks have now replaced Clark (35 sacks since 2015) with Clowney (29 sacks), used the acquired picks to draft another pass rusher in L.J. Collier, linebacker Cody Barton and still have a 2020 second-round pick left over. Plus, even if Clowney leaves in the offseason without a long-term deal from the Seahawks, Seattle will likely recoup a compensatory third-round pick, negating the selection it traded to Houston on Saturday.

Not convinced of Schneider's powers? Let's recount Seattle's offseason further: He orchestrated historic extensions for his offensive and defensive quarterbacks (Russell Wilson, Bobby Wagner), landed arguably the top free-agent edge rusher in Ezekiel Ansah and still made out with Clowney and a well-stocked front seven without mortgaging Seattle's future. There's a reason the Seahawks are always relevant in the NFC, despite significant roster turnover, and he doesn't wear Air Monarchs.

read an article awhile ago, didn't bother to post it. Was about off season events, listed the RW contract as one of the big disappointments. That was because there was an anticipation of RW breaking new ground for football players but JS crushed him in the negations.

Kiper has us taking him in the first round.
Kiper released his latest mock draft this week and on Tuesday held one of his annual conference calls with media to discuss his picks, which included selecting Florida edge rusher Jachai Polite for the Seahawks (pronounced juh-KYE, if you’re wondering).
