Was it SA last year that kept posting clips of Barton, and he would actually run away from the ball carrier to engage a blocker. I swear there was a few clips like that every game. Just flat out headscratching.

Man, I was CONSTANTLY going on about Barton to anyone that would listen (and some who wouldn't), saying he was single-handedly the reason the defense sucked. He was worse than bad - he was crippling. Somewhere around game 10 he figured something out and started getting better, but good LORD he was bad before that. He would seek out blockers and engage them instead of tackling the ball carrier, and it pissed me off so much.

We were/are spoiled by BWagz. Even if he's lost a step, his football IQ and wisdom is game changing. And he sure AF isn't running into blockers, he attacks the ball. The difference is obvious.

Makes you wonder wtf Washington was looking at. Did they even bother to look at film? I guess some teams suck forever for a reason.
