Grading the Draft

Arroyo looks like a very solid pick to me. Uptown Murph thinks so. Top Billin' is hilarious sometimes. Arroyo has size, great hands and finds a way to create space. The speed thing seems negligible, because he gets open and he runs very well after the catch.

I retired the first of April. We were going to do almost a year long trip around the country in our new trailer but I just talked to a guy and his wife renting his house in East Wenatchee. We will definitely be on the road until Late June going from Moorpark and hour north of LA up the CA and OR coast into WA.

First off, congrats on the retirement. Good for you, man. Second, that sounds like a fantastic trip. The Oregon coast is really incredible. And so many microbreweries

I don't know... kinda hot and flat there? They've got wineries these days I guess. I'm not a wine drinker, well there's white port of course. WPLJs, white port and lemon juice. Anybody remember that, you'd get a bottle of white port and squeeze a lemon into it, makes a fine fine wine, anyway I'm digressing

LOL It is only 30 minutes from Leavenworth which is the foot of the Cascades. 1 hour to Stevens pass. Plus I can be Michael's assistant girls softball coach so I can have a purpose in life. lol

Yes, great location to be close to the mountains. Considering Icicle Creek, Blewett Pass, Lake Chelan, etc., Wenatchee probably has easier access to more mountains than Seattle does.

“The Seattle Seahawks trading up to pick No. 35 to select South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori early in Round 2. The Seahawks were aggressive in giving up pick Nos. 52 and 82, but they landed a top-20 player early in Round 2 and only surrendered a mid-third-rounder to do so. Emmanwori can be Mike Macdonald's Kyle Hamilton."

Like I pointed out, the draft doesn't follow the prospect lists, it follows each teams actual needs. If there had been a run on safeties and his name wasn't called, that would have been notable

.First off, there was only one safety taken during the first round. Georgia's Malaki Starks was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the back half of the first round. That indicates teams were not looking to take safeties off the board and feel as if they can hold out and wait for their next turn in the order.

It was a big round for the lines of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Eight offensive linemen were selected and nine defensive linemen/EDGE in the first round. That is over half of the picks allotted in the first round of the draft.
