Lol, just catching up on the board. I'll watch it, but I'll wait for all the episodes to air and then sign up again for HBO for one month to binge.

Also I just noticed the Rams-Niners game in Melbourne is only being broadcast on Netflix unless you are in LA or SF, so I have to sign up for that for a month also. So sick of these games being broadcast behind paywalls. I think The Donald should step in and call bullshit to this streaming-only garbage.

Aaron Donald is WAY to busy trying to get his fat ass in shape to take that on.....

Yeah, I think this is all smoke about him, especially to open the season -- if he comes back at all, which I doubt. And even if he does, fine with me. The Rams are beginning to look like other teams in sports history that got top-heavy signing superstars and legends and then came up short. Doubt the Rams will suck this year and they will probably be right there with us for the NFC West and beyond at the end. But it wouldn't be a shock if their team dissolves into drama and infighting with all the big egos, including McVay's, a flippin' nut case in Puka, and an aging QB.

It's kinda fun watching the Lambs hog the spotlight - and all the pressure. Seattle over here calmly polishing thier trophy, keeping thier mouths shut and doing the work, quietly seething at the disrespect. All the hype about Donald - while folks overlooking Riley Mills about to get playing time. Number one highlight from the SB for me was watching him take down a guard and QB at the same time. It's gonna be hard to repeat for Seattle, but it feels like thier pathway is being layed out for them - just let the Lambs fumble it away. If Seattle stays healthy, I don't see anyone stopping them.

We know how badas and loaded that defense is - but my god look at the offense - the TE group, the WR group, the oline groupo, the QB room, the RB room. Loaded. I am kind of stoked to see this oline just maul people - they've been together a while now and even bradford is coming into his own. embarrassment of riches and I am here for it!

Mao - my buddy worked on a Ted Cruz senate sub committee looking into the problem with the NFL games being spread out over so many different platforms making it impossible for the average fan to follow thier team. I got to ask the committee questions (it was on c-span!) via my friend. It's a real problem and maybe they are looking into it for real, maybe it's all show, but people are noticing and they are pissed.

Good post Jeff. Over the years I have been FAR more critical than positive about both the Hawks and the M's so imagine people think I actually enjoy the former. I do not. I would MUCH rather have a team like the current Hawks that I can just heap praise on. Far more enjoyable and FAR less exhausting. Can't wait for Hard Knocks tonight! And the game Saturday! Go Hawks and Fuck the Mariners! lol

What pisses me off the most about the Mariners is how ownership just shits on that great fanbase. Just a terrible ownership group for 50 years now. Just the worst fucking franchise in sports - they just betray that spectacular fan base - and the Seattle fan base across all sports is so so passionate (step back Storm, ain't no one talkin' 'bout you!). It's like having a '67 427 Split-Window Corvette - and you hire the worst fucking mechanic in the area so it loses to a fucking Camry. Year after year after year after year. Unacceptable. It pisses me off for fans like you - who support them and get nothing in return.

The fans are charlie brown and that shitty franchise is Lucy pulling the ball away at the last moment - year after year after year.

I don't think it had anything to do with Carroll. It just took that many years of fans and sports talk personalities complaining about the shitty O lines for Schneider to finally get that he needed to use a high pick on an interior OL. There's no way they should be ranked 8th though. Sundell and Bradford are below average and Zabdl and Lucas are above average but nothing special (yet). So, unless Cross is now some kind of superstar I think the ljne is barely above average, maybe in the 12-14 range.

So, you think that AFTER John was no longer working for Pete Carroll, he decided to do things differently on the O-Line, and that was a coincidence. Pete was not only the Head Coach, but VP of Football Ops. He, deservedly so, lost both of those jobs and we magically got better. But, can't be a cause and effect? Dude.

It's the Lamb's way. First the rule on the two point conversion was terrible, and then it was pure luck that our DE diagnosed a play because they had run it before and he blew it up, resulting in a failed fourth down play. Whiney little bitches, and I'm fine with Darnold coming back. He hasn't played in two years, and even before he left his play was starting to decline. Duh, that's what happens when you get old!

What kills me is that Stanton and the other owners could go for it and it wouldn't impact their lifestyle in the slightest and the could be Heroes to millions of fans. But he gets off more by getting back slaps in the board room from a dozen of his cronies for increasing profit margins by 2.7% and Profits by 7.1M It is disgusting. These fuckers are demented.
