I wonder if he regrets playing through the core injury last season now that it is apparent the Seahawks aren't going to reward him for it.
Possibly. And, it didn't help him around the league either. The speculation I am hearing is that he only did that because it was a contract year, and that even in a contract year with all that to play for he wasn't able to be on the field all the time. People are afraid he is always hurt and once paid won't even try to battle through it.

Now, that is just stuff I have heard on the radio. Both on KIRO, which is becoming a bigger joke by the day, and NFL Network.

so i guess we're down to Griffen or Bennett now. like to see one of those guys come in. neither really ideal for the 5-tech, but could rotate at that spot occasionally i guess. and inside too of course with Bennett.

He has been quoted as saying he would welcome it.

Just because he says it doesn't mean it will happen

Exactly. We cleared the decks of the malcontents for good two years ago and they aren't going back down that road.

Bennett's almost 35, no way. Hopefully they trade for Ngakoue, they pretty much have to unless they go after Griffen.

Field Gulls said that Clowney could still come back but that he would just have to buy back his jersey number from Reed again. :|

Trust me, when I heard Bennett was "welcoming a return to Seattle" I puked in my mouth. No way do I want him here.
