Re: Roster moves
I didn't see any mention Homer or Scarbrough being put on waivers. Same with the fullback (forgot his name). Does that mean they are keeping six RBs? I don't get that, unless they are looking to make another trade soon.

Re: Roster moves
for sure just crown Schneider already, but dont understand cutting Bellore. unless another one of those sign after week 1 deals so you dont have to guarantee his full year veteran salary, a la Marcel Reese a few years back. think he carries a signing bonus cap hit if not re-signed.
Re: Roster moves
Why would you want Bellore over any of the RBs they kept?57reasons wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2019 11:10 pmfor sure just crown Schneider already, but dont understand cutting Bellore. unless another one of those sign after week 1 deals so you dont have to guarantee his full year veteran salary, a la Marcel Reese a few years back. think he carries a signing bonus cap hit if not re-signed.

Re: Roster moves
That's probably it. It sounded like they would be putting Shaquem Griffin on the IR so that would free up a roster spot for Vellore.57reasons wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2019 11:10 pmfor sure just crown Schneider already, but dont understand cutting Bellore. unless another one of those sign after week 1 deals so you dont have to guarantee his full year veteran salary, a la Marcel Reese a few years back. think he carries a signing bonus cap hit if not re-signed.

Re: Roster moves
I didn't mind most of the cuts but I do have a question about Hollister. Do we still need to give the Pats the 7th rounder or not?
Re: Roster moves
i wouldnt. as the sole FB, i would want him over somebody else, like say branden Jackson, whmo i dont think is a huge risk of not making PS if cut, being a very "pedestrian" vet (and by that i dont mean Baldwin's equal).D-train wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2019 11:11 pmWhy would you want Bellore over any of the RBs they kept?57reasons wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2019 11:10 pmfor sure just crown Schneider already, but dont understand cutting Bellore. unless another one of those sign after week 1 deals so you dont have to guarantee his full year veteran salary, a la Marcel Reese a few years back. think he carries a signing bonus cap hit if not re-signed.
