THIS is why I don't like retreads as coaches. How many different times do these guys need to prove they can no longer get it done before people continue to ask them to try and get it done? Pederson is awful, but McCarthy might be worse.

McCarthy is terrible. And yet Jerry thinks that keeping him around is a good thing.

That is Jameis. Sorry, almost 500 yards passing, but he threw not only 3 picks, but two of them were returned for TDs. I started the Denver Defense in Fantasy last night, so was watching closely. There were four or five other balls that were tipped into the air in the middle of the field and somehow ended up not being intercepted. He honestly could have thrown five or more. You think Geno is loose with the ball, Jameis would be so bad here. Maybe I am wrong, but he holds the ball quite a bit, and doesn't have the escapability that Geno has, when Geno uses it. I think Winston would die in this offense behind this O Line.

Troy Aikman and Joe Buck have been a team for many years in the booth and on the road. That kind of closeness among men is rare.

Hard to believe the amount of respect they seem to give Jameis. This is a guy that jumped into an Uber and immediately groped the driver. Fitting he would take over for Watson!

Hadn't seen this before, baseless Tony Pauline rumor, PC had retired and then tried to undo it

I’ve been told here in Frisco that down the stretch of the season, Carroll had told Seahawks decision-makers he was going to retire at the end of the year but wanted to stay on with the club in some capacity. The initial decision to step down was Carroll’s choice. The team then put plans in motion to look for a new coach once Carroll publicly announced his decision.

Yet after the final game of the season, when the Seahawks were officially eliminated from the playoffs after a Green Bay Packers’ victory over the Chicago Bears, Carroll had a change of heart and told team officials he wanted to stay on as head coach in Seattle. I’m told by then it was too late, and the Seahawks chose to move ahead with plans to find another head coach
