Calvin’s might be a tool, but he’s not wrong. The lack of TDs is pretty bad. That said, you couldn’t watch this team yesterday and not wonder what the fuck they do in practice all week. It’s as if we don’t believe in being good on 3d down or in the RedZone. Maybe that is all Geno’s fault, but the playcalling seems lacking to me.
yeah he is wrong.

Fucking hell, his stats have been behind a backup offensive line all season. As in EVERY SINGLE POSITION had a backup last week, and there's been at least 2/5 starters out every single play since the first half of game one. They held up pretty well for 3 games, but this week the Bengals figured out the secret - put the pressure on Bradford and Curhan and it'll collapse.

And Calkins is a tool.

Yikes. Definitely should have "forced it to him" on this play....
If he had done a 7 step drop instead of the 9 step he did, he would've hit JSN with great timing.

Here is his current stats projected to a full season:

Completions Attempts Yards TDs INTs Sacks
377 558 3,975 17 10 37
Smith can increase his roster bonus for the following year by $2 million for each of these categories in which he matches or surpasses his 2022 production: passing yards (4,282), touchdown passes (30), completion rate (69.755%) and passer rating (100.874). There’s another $2 million available if Seattle makes the playoffs or wins at least 10 regular-season games, provided Smith plays at least 80% of the offensive snaps. If Smith hits all five benchmarks and the Seahawks reach the Super Bowl, his following season’s roster bonus increases by another $5 million.
Not on pace to earn any bonus $ this year. He has a decent shot at comp% though

Good on Geno for this but needs to stop doing things he needs to apologize for.

Hugh Millen was on with Softy today and said that he thinks Geno is either not reading defenses well or he's too afraid to make a mistake and is going to check downs. He said there were multiple plays where the Hawks pre-snap Geno should have noticed an easy window based on the routes called and what the defense was showing him. He said Geno just flat missed those looks...

He also said the Hawks have to start giving DK the Julio Jones treatment and throw him the ball a lot more. He said teams know that controlling DK keeps the offense in check and Geno not throwing him the ball only plays into that more.
