Mafe was depth, but also one of the top two pass rushers at Edge along with Hall.
And Walker a top 10 RB...
Walker sure as heck looked like a key player in the playoffs and SB.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 3:23 pmWoolen wasn't a starter, Charbonnet is ranked basically as highly as Walker at pff. They were good players but they weren't key players. Those are the players you churn through on a team. They are replacable
I suppose they could be improved on the D line with the addition of Mills but there may be some drop off with Reed and Williams who are both in their 30s. And same thing at WR with Horton back but Kupp on the downside.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 4:07 amBasically, the Seahawks compared to last year are now...
Same at QB, TE, WR, OL, DL, ILB, S
Worse at CB, RB, EDGE
Don't see a repeat coming...
So you think there are All Pros which is about 3% of starters and the rest are depth??? They were all starters. That is not depth.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 2:55 pmWell it's a stretch including walker but I'm not that concerned over who they lost nor do I think is JS. They weren't All Pros, Woolen, Mafe, Bryant...that to me is depthD-train wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 12:35 pmI am more than fine with the draft so far but wtf are you talking about???Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 4:52 amIt's more than adding or subtracting players, the process itself gets improved on, developed. Both the offense and defense can continue to develop. I think the offense becomes more pass oriented, Rasheed is combined more effectively, the TEs they have on the roster are utilized more, Darnold improves. And the defense, its not like MM has been at this long. I think that's just beginning. The thing that concerns me really is the turnover at OC. Really the players they lost were basically depth pieces.

In my mind they should clearly be better at receiver. They added Rasheed, I think their TEs will continue to develop. It's up to the OC to utilize them. I'm not sure why Kupp is still on the team.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 3:37 pmI suppose they could be improved on the D line with the addition of Mills but there may be some drop off with Reed and Williams who are both in their 30s. I'm going to follow this guy and if he turns into even a barely average starting OG expect to be reminded of it in every game thread where Bradford is the starting RG next season.
I think Bradford might fit that“They were physically tougher and stronger”
