Penny had a hand injury that cost him a couple pre season games, and on the easiest position in the NFL to play, THAT. caused him to be third string for over half the season? My bias? He was a first round pick, not sure what bias has to do with me believing he should have been able to crack the two deep, or that by now even his coaches don't believe in him as much as you. Six carries? David Montgomery got more than hat as the third option in Chicago on Thursday in game one!

Crow eating time? So, if in the final year of his contract Ifedi is above average that will make the high draft pick have been worth it? Take a look at the backs taken after Penny. Sorry, he has already under performed.

Penny isn't going to beat out a healthy Chris Carson, so the only way he becomes a starter, which is what should be expected of a 1st round pick, is in the last year of his contract, and only if we didn't resign Penny. He has no vision, in year two he is still running into the butts of O Lineman and falling down untouched or stopping his feet. Sorry, I dont care what you think you saw him do at San Diego St...it hasn't translated to the Pros.

Ifedi would have to be an All Pro to make up for the piss poor he has given us so far. Three years of crap and one year of great, right before he leaves? Yeah, crow eating. Besides, after watching him look like a rookie on Sunday I doubt there are many performance accolades heading his way any time soon.
