Well... Oddly unsatisfying, but it's a win

And the refs come in with a retarded penalty to end all hope for Houston.
Shitshow of a game.

What a dumbass. Well, somebody won tonight.
I'm still heartbroken though. That might be the closest the Mariners ever get.

Re: MNF - Seattle Seahawks v Houston Zombie Oilers
Here is something from Condotta from a couple weeks ago on how they might use Emmanwori when he was coming off the injury. MM's deal is multiple packages and moving guys around. He's going to play him in different places. That's what they like about him, his flexibility
The bigger question may be how the Seahawks fit him back into the defense once he returns.
The plan was that Emmanwori would play substantially in a three-safety package.
But the Seahawks have thrived with a nickel package thanks to the emergence of Josh Jobe, during Emmanwori’s absence.
That potential glut in the back end is what has helped fuel Riq Woolen trade rumors.
The Seahawks do use six DBs, but that likely wouldn’t be a primary defensive alignment, potentially leaving someone as an odd man out.
“Yeah, it’ll be interesting,” Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said following Monday’s practice of how they will make use of all of their defensive backs.
“We haven’t game-planned anything yet on defense (for the Tampa Bay game). Again, this is a byproduct of guys getting a lot of work, staying ready with the ready squad, guys being ready to go. It gives you added flexibility when you go into game planning, which is cool. It’s also something you have to be mindful of, so you don’t get too cute, and you’re still able to throw fastballs and guys can execute without having a thousand personnel groups.”

He is listed as a safety. But when you have two safeties on the field and you are the nickel you aren’t the safety on that play.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Oct 21, 2025 5:32 amHe's a safety

So again, strong safety was Okada. And free safety was Coby. The NICKEL CORNER was Emanwari.

But you're saying he was too far off the line of scrimmage for a nickel so why is it being a nickel and not a three safety package? He's playing where MM tells him to play and that's not necessarily going to be two safeties and a nickel. That's what I was trying to point out with that Condotta item. I don't think the defenses are that easy to labelGametime wrote: ↑Tue Oct 21, 2025 5:59 amHe is listed as a safety.
