I'm talking about from where they were at the end of the season whdn they already had Rasheed. Maybe he will be a bigger part of the passing game this year, but who knows? I think the offense as a whole may suffer under the new OC.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 3:46 pmIn my mind they should clearly be better at receiver. They added Rasheed, I think their TEs will continue to develop. It's up to the OC to utilize them. I'm not sure why Kupp is still on the team.

I think one has to assume Rasheed is going to be a bigger part of the passing game or why give him that contract. He was basically their biggest signingSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 4:04 pmI'm talking about from where they were at the end of the season whdn they already had Rasheed. Woolen was 32nd in snap counts in the NFL for CBs. That is Obviously a starter given there are only 64 CBs. Same with Mafe. Dude got 3 x $20M and was 53rd in snap counts for edge rushers. Bryant was 29th for safeties. You call that depth?? Why do you always go down this weird rabbit holes??Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 3:43 pmyou consider Woolen and Mafe starters?D-train wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 3:37 pmSo you think there are All Pros which is about 3% of starters and the rest are depth??? They were all starters. That is not depth.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 2:55 pm
Well it's a stretch including walker but I'm not that concerned over who they lost nor do I think is JS. They weren't All Pros, Woolen, Mafe, Bryant...that to me is depth
Do you think Naylor, Cole Young and Randy are Depth too because they aren't All Stars??? So Weird.

Yeah that is like the Naylor situation with the M's resigning him did not make them better.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 4:04 pmI'm talking about from where they were at the end of the season whdn they already had Rasheed. Re: Day 2 Draft thread
I answered this on the other thread, woolen was replaceable. Their strategy seems quite clear about it. He doesn't get starters money, nor does Mafe. I don't see what baseball has to do with it or what the argument is. It's the sort of attrition every team goes through. And that's what JS does, he replaces good players with more good players. He doesn't have the anxiety about it, it's what he does for a living.D-train wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 4:07 pmWoolen was 32nd in snap counts in the NFL for CBs. The difference with baseball is how much more replaceable football players are. That really what drives the economics. That's what colleges do, supply cheap replacements
Re: Day 2 Draft thread
You said they were depth now they are good players. lol Of course every player is replaceable. Who said JS has anxiety about it??? SH is the only one having anxiety about it. lolDonn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2026 4:22 pmI answered this on the other thread, woolen was replaceable. Their strategy seems quite clear about it. Re: Day 2 Draft thread
I never said they weren't good. I don't equate depth as being shitty. The seahawks have good players up and down their lineup. I'm just commenting on the angst over having to keep the band together. I suffered from it. It's just interesting to watch JS at work. A baseball GM develops players, a NFL GM replaces them. Where we get concerned, he's enjoying himself. This is his bread and butter, scouting and replacing players. When he said, you can find guys. It's what he enjoys doing
Re: Day 2 Draft thread
Depth is literally guys that are back ups that are there in case guys get injured. Guy that play the vast majority of snaps are not depth. I know what your talking about but semantics are just off. If we hadn't drafted Price we would be rolling into the season with actual Depth at RB1.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Apr 26, 2026 3:51 amI never said they weren't good.
