Quinn continues to be the heavy favorite

Apparently getting blasted for 48 points in an NFL playoff elimination game is enough to get you a promotion, as FanDuel Sportsbook is suggesting with their latest odds.

Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn (-240) is the overwhelming favorite to take over as the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, a job previously held by Pete Carroll from 2010-23.

Because people that should be in patients at Gamblingaholics facilities (who the F bets on coaching hires) thinks it is going to be him, doesn't mean it will be. Hint: it won't be.

I have a feeling that it won't be Quinn, either. SEA has shown that they want to move on, not step back. Remember when Holmgren expressed an interest in SEA? They took a hard pass as they had already traveled that road.

Quinn is probably in the conversation but I just don't see it. Schneider will take his time with this.

I read somewhere that the amount of attractive HC candidates currently available might have helped trigger the decision to replace Pete this off season

Agreed. Quinn's stock just dropped considerably - making him a perfect fit to stay in Dallas w/ Dak and McCarthy .

None of the candidates impresses me that much. A couple retread head coaches and some greenhorn hotshot coordinators.

Who knows, this is the same guy that went on like that over drafting a QB?

Only if we get Caleb Williams to come along with. If Johnson is set on DC (don't know why), I'm definitely in on the Slowik bandwagon. Don't be intimidated by the lack of experience. Schneider knows what he's looking for, he's not dumb. Can't wait for next week.

Caleb Williams?! No thank you! Guy makes me puke!!!! I'd rather take Penix over Williams, and I don't have Michael going until the 2nd round. Williams' character is everything wrong with what today's football players should be. Just go and read his "X" threads and you'll get a good sense of this guy. There's no denying his talent, he's gifted. But overall he makes me sick.
