It's probably not surprising then, that Horton's coaches are praising him. On Tuesday, offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak was asked by Seahawks insider Brian Nemhauser if he's ever coached a rookie receiver that Horton reminds him of.
The coach went on to describe a specific receiver, but initially refused to reveal who he was talking about. After some prodding, Kubiak revealed that he was indeed talking about Justin Jefferson.

Hit Man Ham!!! man between Easley, then Hamlin, then Kam we have brought a lot of thunder from that position maybe more so than any other franchise. Niners had Ronnie Lott, Raiders had Jack Tatum who put Darryl Stingley in a wheelchair, but nobody threw offensive tackles around like Kam did.

They spent the entire summer telling you all they needed was a rookie Guard and some new coaches to go from terrible to good. Did you expect one of those new coaches to now blame anyone but themselves?Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 12:57 am
