I could flip that and say "Weird that in every playoff loss over the Pete Carroll era we have trailed an average of 2 to 22. Maybe he is a good coach that isn't as good as everyone else that makes the playoffs?"

The guy needs to adapt, and at nearly 70 years old that may not happen. So, maybe losing in the second round after taking a dump in the first and watching the comeback fall short is the best we can hope for?

I notice not many of the Pete is Great Group has responded to DT's gem.....

And, in one of those seasons we missed the playoffs. So, I would like to know how all the "we could never do better group" responds to this. And here is the caveat....if you blame the personnel....remember that Pete has a hand in that as well.

I didn't say the roster was bad. He has one of the top quarterbacks in the league after all. But i get it, you couldn't refute my point hence the need to change the topic. And please feel free to quote where i have ever said Carroll isn't a good coach.

Flip what? We have people in here blasting the Patriots because they play in a shitty division and that is the only reason they win....well, look at our playoff wins and losses since 2nd and Goal. You still think the same way? Look at how we have lost every single game and tell me that was all on talent and had nothing to do with coaching moves or gameplan.

All week to set up the gameplan in those losses has amounted to a first half deficit of 22 to 2! You almost have to TRY to suck that bad. The other loss was after we threw a slant to the gunner on the punt team...so please explain to me why this team can't get out of their own way.

After the worst play in Super Bowl history resulted in a loss....Is beating a terrible Lions team (then getting trashed by the Panthers in the 1st half to lose), watching Blair Walsh miss an 18 yard FG (then getting trounced for 4 quarters by the Falcons), missing the playoffs all together, losing to a mediocre Cowboy team and beating a Philly team playing a 40 year old Qb with a pulled hammy and their 4th and 5th string WRs (before getting trounced in the 1st half by GB), really the best we can hope for?

And, if it is talent that is the problem, how come the guy that was responsible for signing and drafting these players share non of the blame?

It's the way it goes. Question why we can't play in the first half of second round playoff games and you are a hater that wants PC shot by a firing squad. It is really pretty stupid. Obviously he isn't solely to blame...no one has said that. But the fact that all the playoff losses, and wins for that matter later, look the same? We have different players, just like everyone else, but he coaches the same no matter what. Sometimes that works, but anyone who has watched the first halves of our second round exits and thinks the game plan looked we designed is watching a different game than I am.

The fact that we don't ever run tempo until we are getting killed is quite possible the dumbest thing ever, until I remember a delay of game on the goal line where he threw Lynch under the bus, a ridiculous fake FG with no timeouts on 4th and goal against Atl, and a slant to Ricardo Lockette!
