I could flip that and say "Weird that in every playoff loss over the Pete Carroll era we have trailed an average of 2 to 22. Maybe he is a good coach that isn't as good as everyone else that makes the playoffs?"Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 4:42 pmweird how they keep making the playoffs with such crappy players...hey! maybe PC is a great coach!
The guy needs to adapt, and at nearly 70 years old that may not happen. So, maybe losing in the second round after taking a dump in the first and watching the comeback fall short is the best we can hope for?
I notice not many of the Pete is Great Group has responded to DT's gem.....
"Since we blew the SB 5 years ago our playoff success has consisted of beating a 9-7 Lions team that was probably the worst in history to make the playoffs, beating a Vikings team 10-9 because Blair Walsh missed the shortest FG in NFL playoff history and beating and Eagles team that barely scraped into the playoffs and had to go with a 40 yo gimp Back up QB. Yeah, I think I would like a higher ceiling."
And, in one of those seasons we missed the playoffs. So, I would like to know how all the "we could never do better group" responds to this. And here is the caveat....if you blame the personnel....remember that Pete has a hand in that as well.
