just wait till the combine when he really dusts off his missile launcher throwing against air instead of a pass rush. that was always going to lift him anyways.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 4:12 pmas far as the mocks go, Eason seems to be becoming a legit first rounder, i can see why he decided to declare

Re: Mock draft compilation
Should we target a return specialist in the draft? Might be worth looking at.
Re: Mock draft compilation
No, not with the modern rules that hamper the kickoff returns. i think Moore has already shown himself adequate as punt returner. particularly with how well Schneider drafts late, rather just go the BPA route than force it.HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 5:28 amShould we target a return specialist in the draft? Re: Mock draft compilation
good point, the league is trying to minimize kick returns

I think Hawks should draft the all time NCAA kick returner...57reasons wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 5:55 amNo, not with the modern rules that hamper the kickoff returns. i think Moore has already shown himself adequate as punt returner. particularly with how well Schneider drafts late, rather just go the BPA route than force it.HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 5:28 amShould we target a return specialist in the draft? Oh wait . They already did and they don't let him return kicks .
Re: Mock draft compilation
should they a capable wideout via FA or draft maybe they will have that luxury again this year. would have to do better than Jaron Brown this time though.ThePro wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 7:47 amI think Hawks should draft the all time NCAA kick returner...57reasons wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 5:55 amNo, not with the modern rules that hamper the kickoff returns. i think Moore has already shown himself adequate as punt returner. particularly with how well Schneider drafts late, rather just go the BPA route than force it.HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 5:28 amShould we target a return specialist in the draft? I was excited when he was back there, the few times he was. He just didn't offer much...no clue why. Maybe they should have tried it again some more last year, but by then he was getting far more carries and maybe they didn't want to risk it? Which, makes no sense as they seem to have no problem risking Lockett!

Given his injury I am guessing Penny has returned his last kick.Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 4:36 pmI was excited when he was back there, the few times he was. Yeah, I was talking before the injury. It always shocked me how inexplosive he looked. Could have been that as many have said, he just didn't get it yet. Then, when he did get it and was looking very good within the offense? Maybe they just didn't want to stick him back there, as he was going to get plenty of touches?

Re: Mock draft compilation
Thought that was one of the reasons I thought they drafted him
“He will be able to play on (special) teams and be a factor,” Carroll commented in his post-draft press conference. “The special teams aspect is so unique. He’ll be able to help take the burden off Tyler (Lockett).”
