Hawks v. Chiefs Preseason Game Thread 8/15/25

It's supposed to be pissing rain later. I was hoping for better weather, instead of what might be a slip and slide with funny bounces and turnovers. Hope everyone stays healthy tonight. Players fighting for roster spots, along with some starters getting their first action in what might be sloppy conditions, makes me more nervous than usual about injuries.

I'd be okay if Kate Scott and Michael Robinson called all our televised games with Michael Bennett. They do a great job and are light years ahead of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

The new 1st down measurement system is worthless if they don't get the spot right. That was probably a 1st down, or much closer, with an accurate spot.
If they're going to spend so much time with the fancy digital measurement, why not automatically review the spot, as well?
