I'm overall optimistic for this team this year. However, I'm always overall optimistic.
If the defense is going to be as good as I hope and the offense really can manufacture some running game,
This team could go to the playoffs and possibly beyond. The O-line could actually be improved and the new OC
might be exactly what we need. Why not? If these two things are just wishful thinking based on a couple of encouraging
pre-season games, then it could go badly. But I think they are better. I hope me and the homers are right.
My biggest concern is QB. I'm glad Geno is gone, but I'm not convinced Darnold will be more productive. If the running
game is 3/4 as good as what it looked like in pre-season game 1-2, then it won't matter, as Darnold's job will be
relatively easy. He will just need to be a decent game manager. But most "great" teams have a great QB.
