2 first round picks AND a huge contract like that? I wonder if that will end up being the Fudge Packers version of the Russell Wilson trade.

$47M a season. The Pack had the 4th ranked defense last year.

Yeah those picks will likely be 25th or worse.

or as local cynics call it, those picks will be "Colliers".
if they werent already favored over the Lions for that division, they certainly will be now.

that IS a steep price. 2 #1s and Kenny Clark, who is no slouch, even at his advanced age.
Far be it from to be impressed by anything Jerry Jones does, but their biggest onfield issue was stopping the run, which Kenny Clark should help, and $47M per on top of the $100M to Dak and Ceedee is not sustainable.

Best that Dallas has been able to draft since Parsons on the line is Mazi Smith, and he just made the 53. I guess Cowboys camp told Micah play on you're 5th year or leave, when they reached out for an extension. Dallas fans down here in Texas are pissed about it saying, " we extended the wrong guy!"(meaning Dak.)

I don't see anything impressive about it terms of Jones, if he hadn't been such a total wack job trying to get around Parsons agent maybe he gets a deal done. It's unbelievable his negotiation tactics

This to me is like a "do bears shit in the woods" thing, of course they thought about it. JS has stated, he wants in on any deal that comes up.
”It would be inaccurate to say the Seahawks were not intrigued with pursuing Micah Parsons.

”Yes, the Seahawks talked about pursuing a trade for Parsons, a league source told The News Tribune Thursday afternoon. But those internal discussions never gained enough traction to prompt designing a trade offer to Dallas for him, the source told the TNT.”
