Ben Solak's 2025 All-Rookie team

He has Zabel the starting LG and Emmanwori starting SS. Surprisingly, he didn't go with Milroe at QB or Arroyo at TE.

Why did we even draft Milroe? Seems like a totally wasted pick in my mind.

It was a wasted pick. The guy put up blah numbers at Alabama, and if you put up blah numbers in college, what makes one think he'll be a good pro? Like Jake Locker.

Still, great draft, especially if Horton can stay healthy.

It was a worthwhile risk, and at the time I liked it. In hindsight? I wish they'd have taken Sanders.

But they ran like one failed trick play with him all year, and then nothing?

How can they think he was so good on draft day, and then just sit him 99% of the year.

Something isn't adding up.

And that one play might of cost us the game....I wonder if we could even trade him for a 7th rounder now.

Here are the players taken directly after Milroe...

Jonas Sanker - has started 15 games as a FS for the Saints and played well. Not really a need going into the draft but with Love's hamstring issues may have been valuable.

Dillon Gabriel - won the starting QB job for the Browns and was serviceable before a concussion took him out. Again, not a need and wouldn't have contributed here, but perhaps a better backup option than Lock.

Jared Wilson - has started 10 games at C/G for the Patriots. His overall PFF grade isn't much better than Bradford's but his pass blocking grade is, and he will probably improve over the next few years. Definitely could have used him.

Xavier Watts - Safety, Falcons, has started every game
Jaylin Smith - CB, Texans, injured most of this season
Caleb Rogers - RG, Raiders, has started since week 13
Charles Grant - OT, Raiders, backup (24 snaps)
Upton Stout - CB, 49ers, part-time starter (566 snaps)

17 picks after Milroe the Bills drafted DT Deone Walker, who has started since week two. The Seahawks needed a NT badly with the injury to Hankins.

I totally dug the Milroe pick, still do. Remember the situation? No, of course not. Seattle's QB room was unsettled - Geno was shipped off, I can't remember if we had signed Darnold yet, probably had, so we add Lock, Milroe and Darnold to give us a varied, diverse and experienced QB room. Milroe was, and is, a total wild card. Just because he hasn't paid dividends yet, doesn't mean he won't. He wasn't a scrub in college and he wasn't considered a first rounder - Seattle got him in the perfect spot. This 'hindsight drafting' is utterly pathetic. 13-3 and all bunged up about Miltroe. Jesus Fucking Christ. Hey, remember that guy that jumped off side in game three? Let's deep dive into that. Also, should probably fire Schneider. God he's the WORST!

Oh, and it doesn't appear Seattle needed a DT, does it? Seems like Schneider, the horrible GM, you know, the guy that drafted the biggest bust in the 2025 draft, Milroe. You roll the dice, you take your chances. Live with it - or maybe head on over to the WNBA forum.

I also 100% supported Harvin & Penny, then and now. I don't 'change my position' because things didn't work out AFTER a logical move is made and do the hindsite bullshit in a ridiculous effort to 'look smart'. "Oh, let's see who the best players were, oh, yeah, that's who I definitely would have taken!"

Today we're "outraged" about the Milroe pick. I can't even...

All I did was post a list of players drafted after Milroe with some basic information. I wasn't a fan of the Milroe pick so I didn't "change my position" and this isn't "hindsight bullshite". Go back and look at the 50 or so mock drafts I posted on that thread and try to find one where I drafted a QB before the 6th round. I doubt you will, but you'll find several where i drafted TWO interior OL in the first three rounds and several others where I drafted Deone Walker or another big DT because having a legit nose tackle out there instead of Bohanna of Pili (or Hankins if he was healthy) would have made the D even better. I realize others see some future value in Milroe with time to develop his talents.
