I think they had to fess up to it because he left practice. This is being painted as very minor (IMO).

They're probably doing this so the 9ers will gear up to sell out and stop the run thinking that'll be seattle's strategy - meanwhile it's all a smoke and mirrors show - get ready for an aerial assault coming in HOT.

One would think that any attempt at smoke and mirrors isn't going to fool Shanahan. But whether it does or not is somewhat less relevant considering their depleted roster.

Side note: I have not heard from Grandma Lynn in a long time. DT?
