Don't defend passes in practice?
Emmanwori was injured while defending a pass late in Wednesday’s padded practice, according to pool reporter Kalyn Kahler of ESPN. He walked off the field on his own, with several players attempting to comfort Emmanwori before he left

Was it worth it? Would he not be able to defend passes in the SB if he didn't go all out in Practice (are we talkin bought Practice?) 7 MONTH after training camp started???

Yeah it was worth it, to have the team practicing. If it's not worth it then I guess you don't have practice. You think they play better as a team with a healthy Emmanwori and not practicing?

You can practice without significantly risking injury, they do it all the time throughout OTAs and Training camp and during the season.

I have played thousands of hours of football, basketball, baseball and tennis and have never sprained an ankle in my life. Sprains his ankle practicing 4 days before the SB. Can't make it up.

So you're saying for some reason MM decided to hold a particularly risky practice just before the SB. I guess he's just another idiot

Smart people make mistakes all the time. I know they treat every game the same and this is just the next game but it seems to have bitten them this time and caution should have been the time to employ caution is the better part of valor or in this cause sticking to your routine regardless of circumstances.

I don't think MM views it as a mistake having his team prepared to play a football game even at the risk of a player being injured doing it. I believe they calculate the risk.
