I'm not sure what JS sees in him to risk messing up team chemistry. Perhaps it's more about what he doesn't see in Pritchett, Igbinoghene and Neal...

What he sees in him? Lets see, a 23 year old first team all american corner first round draft pick. Half a season in the nfl, eight games played before an injury ended his season. I dont think hia pff grades are that relevant. He's considered talented. If JS pulls this off think of that d backfield. Emmanwori, Witherspoon, Arnold all what, 25.or undsr...wow

Terms of chemistry, seems they went to Milroe about that. They were alabama team mates. Milroe feels he would fit in fine. I guess that waa covered on Hard Knocks, that discussion
Man, of course he’s my best friend so I can pump and hype him up a lot,” Milroe said, according to Bell. “But man, I really hope he can come here. He can definitely be a difference-maker for us.

This will be his 3rd season. As a rookie he started in 15 games for the Lions...

Again, not much there to get excited about. Maybe JS sees untapped potential there however.

Talent wise, sounds like just the kind of corner MM and JS would covet, physical, transitioned from safety
Terrion Arnold is a highly talented, athletic cornerback who was drafted 24th overall by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Alabama. Known for his fluid hips, elite ball skills, and physical press coverage, he quickly established himself as a top-tier defensive prospect.

Shutdown Capability: Led the SEC with 5 interceptions and 17 passes defended during his standout 2023 season at Alabama.

Versatility: Transitioned successfully from safety to a dominant outside and inside cornerback.

Explosive Combines: Ran a 4.5-second 40-yard dash with a 37-inch vertical jump, showcasing elite twitch and closing speed

What are the odds the league lets him play? I would think not good. Actually im wondering if this isnt about stashing him for next season if he can settle his issues
The next move will be up to the league office. He could be placed on the Commissioner Exempt list immediately. Or the NFL could wait to do it until the end of the preseason. Or the NFL could choose to not do it at all.

During the latest episode of Hard Knocks, Seahawks G.M. John Schneider told coach Mike Macdonald that assistant G.M. Joey Schneider believes Arnold will be permitted to play in the preseason. This indicates an awareness of the very real possibility that the league will put Arnold on paid leave before Week 1, when the Seahawks host the Patriots in the opening game of the 2026 regular season

Huard on the topic, makes some interesting points. Seems a given he will be suspended but could be settled this season. If hes any sort of problem just cut him. And maybe the most interesting and i remember now reading this, he wasnt a good fit in detroits style of defense. Hed be a much better fit with MM. This is a guy they had targeted, they had a first round grade on him, they know all about him.

The Lions traded up for him. Why do that if hes not a fit? The Lions are considered a great organization but still. That to me is what makes JS stand out. I cant imagine JS trading up in the first round to take a guy that doesnt fit MMs defense

Is it normal these days for NFL players to have "posses"? To me that right there should be a big enough red flag to say "no thanks" to his services. But I'm not up with the times so maybe that's just normal these days.

Thats just a function of having money, nothing new about that. I happened to have been reading about that item the other day. That i believe were who Sinatra was with, his posse. I was going to say too, it seems a lot like the OJ incident that sent OJ to prison
On June 8, 1966, businessman Frederick Weisman suffered a skull fracture during an altercation with singer Frank Sinatra at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel. Weisman later underwent brain surgery at Mt. Sinai Hospital after collapsing at home.
