Just saw that the kid who played Walter White's son in Breaking Bad committed suicide. Incredibly sad.
My top 5 TV shows of all time:
1) Better Call Saul - How you can improve on the original masterpiece and tie it in as a Prequel is unparalleled in TV history, and how they did it was so unbelievably good.
2) Breaking Bad - The gold standard of the Binge television era
3) Lost - The OG of the TV serial - the production, music and acting made you feel like you were watching a movie each week. People rag on the final season, but the final episode always makes me weep like a baby, and I loved the last season.
4) Game of Thrones - Here is where the final season did kill the entire rest of the franchise. Daenerys Targaryen goes ape-shit and kills everyone? Totally not the character we watched the entire series. What a shame
5) M*A*S*H - The show ran much longer than the actual war did, but the combination comedy and drama each week was a very special thing. The final episode is still the highest rated (non-Super Bowl) television show in TV history. That's an extraordinary record to have held for more than 43 years, and shows just how cherished this show was, and still is.
