Trade Deadline 2019

Post by Hasslecracked » Wed Oct 16, 2019 12:00 am

Will keep this thread going for rumors or trades.

CB Marcus Peters to Ravens for a 5th

CB Jalen Ramsey to Rams for 2 1sts and a 4th

Rams won't have a 1st round draft pick for 5 years. If Hawks front office did that this city would burn the VMAC down to the ground.

It is questionable whether the Rams have much of a shot at the playoffs at this point. I think this is a move that will come back to haunt them.
Ramsey can cop an attitude with the best of them too.

Rams mortgaged their future to go for it this year. If it fails, may cost the GM his job honestly

Very similar to the 49ers run from 7-8 years ago. Lose the SB and fade to oblivion soon after. Maybe McVay will pull a Harbaugh and be coaching at his alma mater in a couple years. Miami of OH. lol

Has anyone heard anything about Duane Brown's injury status? Would you be in favor of trading for an offensive lineman in the event that they have to shut him down for any length of time?

Maybe for depth. Fant looked pretty good.

Wasn't Jones filling in for Brown? Anyway, with Iupati and Fluker both being injuries waiting to happen and Pocic done for the season, i would think they might want to pick up a guard so that they can free up Fant to be a 6th OL on run plays. I guess Phil Haynes is eligible to join the roster this week so perhaps that will help with that situation.

The more I think about the Rams moves the more I think it might be one of the most idiotic moves I have ever seen a team make. They have lost 3 in a row including two to the two teams ahead of the them in the standings and they opt to "upgrade" the CB position by going from one lunatic to another for the low low price of two firsts and a fourth. Wow. Mind boggling.

Sounds like Brown will be back before the trade deadline and like you mentioned Haynes will be back and also Christmas so probably just roll with it.
