Damn Twitter is about 90% ET content right now so I figured I would start this thread as a repository of ET items for those who care.

I personally don't have much if an animosity towards him but outside of being a great safety, don't have much respect for him either.

If it was called the Ring of great players I think he should be a part of it but not sure he should be enshrined in the Ring of HONOR. Guessing he will be eventually though?

I mean, he's a future Hall of Famer. Not sure how that keeps him out of the Ring of Honor

I don't know why so many Seahawk players feel betrayed when they are allowed to go into free agency. Don't they understand it's a business and teams can only sign so many players to mega contracts?

I am sure if he becomes a HOF the Hawks might feel obligated to put him in the Ring of Honor.

I have no problem with Earl, I'm sure he'll get a warm reception from the 12s on Sunday. As for the one-finger salute, it seems Pete has no problem with it:

I love Earl Thomas. Dude was a baller. He gave his all every time he put a Hawks uni on.
He wanted a new contract, the Hawks didn't give it to him... yeah there were the 2 broken legs, but I'd be pissed too knowing what I've given to this franchise... + look at our safeties now. He was a franchise altering player.
Hawks fans should and will give him a huge ovation. My guess is they'll welcome him back on the big screen and he'll get a big ovation. One he deserves for helping change a franchise of despair into a perennial winner.
