Madden Curse

The Madden curse has claimed another victim. If you are thinking "Pro you are being silly" Antonio Brown was on the cover last year. I posted a video you can watch describing the real threat of being on the cover. If they put Wilson on that god forsaken thing I will be in a fetal position and cry inconsolably for weeks.

it will be ok, he can appear and still break the curse as long as he's holding a bottle of his magic water.

Madden Curse is alive and well. It goes back beyond just AB and Mahomes.
2000 Barry Sanders: abruptly retires.
2001 Eddie George: set career high in fumbles and had the game deciding fumble in Titans playoff loss.
2002 Daunte Culpepper: injured 6 games and set career high in fumbled. Ended with a 14:13 TD:INT ratio.
2003 Marshall Faulk: missed 6 games to injury and never topped 1000 yards again the rest of his career.
2004 Michael Vick: missed half the year then later arrested for dog fighting.
2006 Donovan McNabb: missed half the year to injury and fought with teammates.
2007 Shaun Alexander: we all know what happened to him.
2008 Vince Young: had a 8:17 TD to INT ratio and got benched.
2009 Brett Favre: set career high with 22 interceptions.
2010 Troy Polamalu: missed 11 games and set career low in tackles
2011 Drew Brees: set career high in interceptions and team lost to the 7-9 Seahawks in playoffs
2012 Peyton Hillis: set career low in rushing yards and never rebounded in his career
2014 Adrian Peterson: suspended for child abuse
2017 Gronk: missed 9 games to injury
If Wilson gets offered I would hope he's smart enough to decline.

All true, but I'd still feel better if Russ was not on the cover.
