10/20/19 Hawks pavin' the Ravens game thread
Well, at least we've got one football team in town that's still capable of having a meaningful season. We're critical of the coaching staffs of both the Huskies and Hawks but at least the Hawks are out there winning so the Hawk coaching staff and players are finding ways to win whereas the Husky coaches crap their pants when games are close in the fourth quarter.

I think Schottenheimer is doing a good job running an offense that works best for Wilson, but some of the play-calling is still pretty awful, particularly in the 1st quarters of games. I wish they would just let Wilson call the plays that are in the play-book, even run a two-minute offense early on, especially if they can't establish the run game.
Norton I am really unhappy with. He doesn't seem to have a clue how to put any pressure on opposing QB's. I guess it's possible that he is under a mandate from Carroll to not deviate from some rigid philosophy with how to use his players, but surely he could call for a blitz more than once a game. I guess against Lamar Jackson they probably shouldn't over-commit so I expect they will again get no sacks today, but just try to keep him contained. Against QB's like Goff and Mayfield, though, you need to send guys after them.

This is the worst 5-1 team. Rams will overtake them in the standings. Couple players away from a playoff team.
