Britt has an ACL

Probably out for the season. Injuries are never good but of the 22 starters he will be the easiest to replace other than maybe TT.

Going by PFF, Britt was performing near the bottom of the "below average" or "backup" range. I'm confident that Joey Hunt can replace him adequately. However, with Pocic also done for the season, they will probably have to sign another center or trade for one unless Jordan Roos can play the position.

Gotta trade for a solid center, Hunt is not solid. A quick backup— for the entire second half. Nope.

A lot of injuries to the Hawk OL this year. This is problematic. Add the TE's as part of the OL and it is much worse... Dissly and the other guy.

Hunt is solid. He filled in admirably for a few games last year.

He is undersized but more athletic. I think barring a big trade he will start the rest of the season.

Guys all these injuries and suspensions are mounting. We have tough games down the stretch (SF X2, Vikings, Rams, Eagles are all playoff caliber, The Cards are probably tougher than 3-4-1 indicates, the Bucs are 2-5 even the Panthers have 5 wins and seem to always play us physically. After Tampa we could be should be 7-2. After that we really need to be whole to beat other playoff level teams. I question if we can lose Britt and Pocici and have questions about Brown, and Fluker. There was a reason Britt started over Hunt, and Pocic was the presumptive sub at several positions.
Last week I did a post about how several position groups were missing key personel:
TE We lost the starter that had a perfect passer rating with Wilson that is an elite player that is out for the season.Who knows if we get Dickson back and when. Oh, and we also traded away Vannette.
OL Brown, Fluker, Britt, Pocic, Ifedi even Fant was on the injury report this week ( Hunt can't very well replace everyone can he?)
DL We missed Reed for 6 games, Jefferson is Q and has been a breakout player. Ansah is Q
DBs, Safety Flowers, Hill, McDougald, Diggs are on the report

I really don't know how positive I can be about a team that has so many position groups with significant losses.
