These are Ben Arthur's..not mine
https://www.seattlepi.com/sports/seahaw ... 95121.php

- Tre Flowers will be a Pro Bowler

- Shaqueem Griffin will have 7+ sacks

- Russell Wilson wins first MVP

- DK Metcalf will be WR 1 by end of season

- Phil Haynes will have biggest early season impact of any rookie.

Balsy predictions.. Least likely is Griffin getting 7 + sacks .For Haynes to have the most impact either Iupati or Fluker would have to go down. We don't want that at all . Metcalf became WR 1 right after Chancellor announced the pick.

What are your bold predictions?

Lockett and Metcalf being 1 & 2 is the consensus opinion right now. Who's number 3?
There are a lot of candidates, and the training camp battles will be interesting to watch, but I'm calling John Ursua to emerge as the #3 guy.

Bold prediction two: Rashaad Penny get more TD's than Chris Carson.

He can't even spell Shaquem so I doubt he did enough research to come up with a good reason why he might have 7 sacks, let alone 7 tackles.

My bold prediction is that Shaquem doesn't make the final roster.

It sounds like he would be a back-up for B. Mingo, or am i reading that wrong?

Mingo might not even be on the team. Especially if a certain FA DT with glasses comes to the VMAC for a visit (fingers crossed) . Sounds like they are going to use him as a specialist. Remember Rufus Porter? Like that. Griffin is not a very good LB. Takes horrible angles to ball and has zero diagnostic abilities. Hopefully he can find his niche as a pass rusher. 7 sacks would be impressive.

I have a great story about Rufus Porter. I I lived in the same apartment complex as he did in Kirkland in 1993-94. That was when the team trained in South Kirkland at the Bible college about two miles south. On Sept. 4th 1994 the team kicked of the season with a big win in DC against the Skins and I continued to celebrate because it was labor day the next day and I didn't have to work.

About 9 or 10pm I had a great buzz going so I figured Rufus would be home so I went to his place and pounded on the door. I heard this really groggy heelllooo????? (He had probably been up since out 4am PT and had just travelled cross country after playing in an NFL game) I opened the door and it was pitch black so either he was asleep or getting busy with some chick. I yelled, "Great game man!" slammed the door shut and ran as fast as I could back to my apartment. lol

At least you didn't shout "ruf, ruf!". But it's probably a good thing that you ran.

seven sacks might not be that far fetched...PC seems intent on using him differently, seems to feel he screwed up not using him more as a pass rusher last season, his more natural role. It would have to work of course, the role change but if it does, who knows
