I'll take a double tight set with Dissly and Olsen though

Sure. Hopefully that will get them to get off their Hollister obsession.

Would make Hollister and Luke Willson battle for the 3rd spot. I wonder if we would try and find another Jumbo TE to take over for Fant? Besides Dissly, non of the 4 TEs left are exactly great blockers. Fant craps bigger than Hollister.

I'm ready to let Fant walk. Depends on price though.

Yeah, he wants to be a Left Tackle, and I don't see that happening here. Not sure if he would be an affordable option to replace Ifedi at RT or not.

I was just more curious if they have some other backup Tackle that they would turn into that Jumbo type run blocking TE. Or, does it even matter? Just stick your backup Tackle out there anyway. We threw the ball to Fant one time in two years of him playing that spot and right after he caught it he left a dent in the turf from falling down. Not sure it matters if the guy lining up in that spot has any athleticism or not.

It matters. They don't grow former college power forwards who happened to play some TE and are a serviceable backup LT with playoff experience..
On second thought. They should sign him     I hate the idea of him at RT though. Fant is not an upgrade over Ifedi. This draft can produce a gigantic upgrade over both.

I like the idea of getting Olsen or another vet TE. If he can be had for 4-5mill and no more than that - then I say get him. Russ is in his prime and really forces us to go all-in on the offense. Get a TE to backup Dissly and a legit WR like Diggs via trade or someone else. 3 legit WR's, 2 good TE's and a power back like Carson and our Offense will overwhelm teams.
