Kendricks and Snacks in town

This is an indication that...

a) the #Seahawks aren't thrilled with Cody Barton
b) Jordyn Brooks' knee injury will keep him out longer than expected
c) both

(If Option B, expect to see Brooks go on IR this week. It was a bit surprising he wasn't put on IR last week.)

Free agent LB Mychal Kendricks is visiting the Seattle Seahawks today, per source. Chance to reunite with his team from 2018-19.

Barton was garbage against the Dolphins, but maybe he'll learn from mistakes in his first start. Either way, he doesn't look like a starter right now, and Kendricks is solid.

I wish they'd give BBK a shot. I remember doubting that kid when I first saw him at UW, thinking "who is this tiny guy thinking he can play LB?" then watching him develop into an absolute tackling machine. He seems like the kind of guy that doesn't show up as well in the combine or practice, but is a gamer. Maybe he isn't the answer, but I sure would like to see what he can do.

Also, we need Snacks, even if he's just a body.

Okay, Bathtub time poll question. You are Seahawks GM John Schneider, you can make one more move. It is:
Sign Earl Thomas
4.8%
Trade for JJ Watt
53.1%
Trade 4 NYG CB Bradberry
5.1%
Sign Snacks Harrison
37%

Can someone remind me how Kendricks left? Wasn't he the insider trading guy that was pretty good?

Ok how in the hell could we possibly trade for JJ Watt 1st of all.

Broke his leg late in the year so they did not bring him back

Probably because of our awesome 1st round pick who is now out indefinitely. Yes he was a fellow stock trading fanatic.

Watt has two years (this and next) left on a $100M deal.

Sad to say, but the chances of any further trade-fleecing greatly diminished when Bill O'Brien got canned this week. At least we got Brown and Clowney when we did. :)
