I really like Lewis. He seems to have that little bit of a mean streak and strong A.F. I'm watching the replay of the game now, and he's pushing guys downfield, finishing his blocks to the very end. On the flip side, Shell looks 'soft' - like he's OK most of the time, but when he gets beat he just sorta gives up and says "oh well"... now, it's not Ifedi-bad (I swear he'd stand around with his hands in his pockets if his pants had any). but the team still could use an upgrade at RT.

I'll be honest....what we see in Lewis is what I think we would have seen out of Ifedi....if they had let him play Guard.

oh HELL no. Ifedi could do one thing - push forward. He still would've sucked in pass protection, and he was the laziest player I've ever seen. I about lost my mind at how many times he'd just be standing around while RW ran for his life, or stopped blocking because he thought the RB was probably down by now. While yes, he would've been better suited at guard than tackle, his lack of mental game would still have made him suck - he would've gone from the worst player in the NFL at tackle to a pretty bad guard.

Haha, you could be right. Lewis has been pretty damn good, so that might be a high bar...but for the LIFE of me I can’t see what made them think he was an NFL Tackle.

So Brown is still well above average Lewis may be a gem. Pocic and Iupati are starter grade players and for that matter Shell very nearly is. The line is visibly holding up better.
For my part I was really pulling for Jason Peters at a cheap 1 year deal but he is at a 64.4 pff.
Crow, yummy.
oTHERS
Andrew Whitworth is off to a great stat in LAR
87.3 PFF like Peters he is 38 soon to be 39 but Whitworth was able to get a 3/30M contract
Jack Conklin 3/42M is sitting pretty with an 83 PFF 1 sack and 0 penalties.
Bryan Bulaga signed for 3/30M and he has a 67 PFF
2 hindsight type moves Conklin vs Shell
and
No Irvin but sign Aldon Smith
Would have been the reverse of the Clowney F-U to Seattle. Aldon Smith has 4 sacks to Clowneys 0 and a 75-73 PFF advantage and signed for peanuts in comparison.
