Man, I don't know. Russ hasn't missed a game in his career. We are going to get to the 17th game of the season and have to sit him for two games because he has played his max? I realize you could sit him twice earlier based on schedule, but I don't like our chances bearing anyone with Paxton Lynch under Center.

Wow, I hadn't even thought about that.
At least Shaquille could play all 18 games. For the last two he could just pretend he is his brother. Since they are twins nobody would be able to tell.

Absolutely. Before the 17th game he can cut his hand off, just like Michael Fassbender did in Alien:Covenant.

This has to be the most idiotic idea I have ever heard of. You are basically telling the fans that the two preseason games are eliminated, while forcing the teams to field a preseason-type of roster for two games -WHILE EXPECTING THE FAN TO PAY FULL FREIGHT. Jesus H Christ the NFL continues to destroy their own brand chasing the quick buck. Imagine being tasked with 'figuring out' how many games each player has played. Totally changes your entire strategy for the season. Absolutely shit-for-brains behind this idea. Greed and stupidity will end this league eventually.
We should probably move that extra point back again. That was truly next-level thinking. It's like Harry and Lloyd are think-taking for the NFL while delivering the suitcase of money. This conversation happened in the Mutt Cutts truck while Goodell rode bitch.

And after Goodell drives us several hundred miles in the wrong direction, we the fans will be the ones sitting there sulking with our ass crack showing. And no Roger, you won't totally redeem yourself.

What's it gonna take to make us stop watching? How many bad calls, rule changes to fix the bad calls, domestic violence, egregious behavior by the players and owners, controversies. How long before they kill that cash cow?

Actually only 2/18 of the roster would be ineligible each game or 6 of 53 guys. You have that much variability with the roster every week with injuries and such. It would only be noticeable if guys like RW and BW are out. If it means MORE FOOTBALL it's a small price to pay.
