Amazing that we actually would have been better off with Geno Smith today. At least Smith hits the short passes, doesn't force the bullshit Wilson did, and puts enough points on the board to give the team a shot.

Be interesting to see how this plays out next week against the Cardigans. If McCoy is under center I think we'll get the scrub from today, especially the way our defense has been playing. If Murray, he'll no doubt be hampered so we really should win. My feeling is that if we can win one of these two games this team can still get hot and pull it off, as 9-8 might be enough the way the season is going.

Otherwise, what a fucking waste of over three hours of our lives today.

DK was a dumbass and lost his cool, but it was way after it mattered. There was less than a minute and a half left.

TBH, the Packers D really played well today. The refs were RIDICULOUSLY one-sided with several calls (literally cost at least 2 field goals that might have changed the entire outlook of the game). Russ looked rusty. He missed passes he always makes, he made bad decisions he normally doesn't, and in the first half he didn't avoid the rush like he normally does (he seemed to fix this later on).

It was a perfect storm of suck.

On the bright side, our defense played WAY WAY better. The final score doesn't reflect that they held the Packers and reigning MVP in check.

Why does it take nearly a half a season for the defense to get it together every damn season?

Why did Russ decide to throw a hail mary with plenty of time left when we were finally moving the ball. The play calling and decision making were so idiotic.
