Yeah, supposedly the Hawks are the only team in contact with him. He will see if an opportunity opens up somewhere before camps open, probably retire

Re: Charles Cross
I don't think he'll retire. He still has some left in the tank - he's not quite what he used to be, but he's still better than half the left tackles in the league. Any team without a decent LT (or with an injury) and with a shot at the playoffs has him on the radar, but it might be after the season starts when they find out they need him.
Pretty common for the aging vet free agents to sit out there until pre-season. Nobody wants to sign the old guy early.

"Cross, a left tackle from Mississippi State taken ninth overall, gets a standard four-year deal worth a fully guaranteed $21.38 million with a signing bonus of $12.73 million. And it also includes a team option for a fifth year, as is standard for all first-round picks."

White makes $24 million EACH year. Highway effing robbery. Just think if Kelenic had agreed to the offer he was made!?
What a genius franchise. Let’s pay AA talent and be sellers at every trade deadline. It’s not the longest playoff drought in North America for nothing. Robbie Ray sure cashed out on one good year too.

Yeah, 24 million is an awful lot for a guy that won't see a major league field in a Mariner uniform ever again. And again, if Kelenic wasn't an arrogant tool bag, we'd be paying two of them! Yikes.

Re: Charles Cross
I guess when White retires he can hire JK to be his butler or chauffeur.
Re: Charles Cross
I told you I have this vision of White and his wife out for dinner in 5 years at Applebee's and JK is their waiter and White tips him a $50 bill and writes a note on it:Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu Jun 02, 2022 3:07 pmI guess when White retires he can hire JK to be his butler or chauffeur.
"Should have taken that deal!"
