He has been around for a while:

Most years he is worth a couple of hundred yards but back in 2017 he started all 16 games and had 56 Rec for 962 yards, and 4 rushes for 44 yards.

5'9" 180# and ran a 4.27 40. He is going into his age 32 season.

This makes the WR look deep and diverse:
DK 6'4" 235# 4.33 40
Tyler L 5'10" 182# 4.4
Goodwin 5'9" 180# 4.27
Dee E. 5'9" 190 4.38
Bo Melton 5'11" 195# 4.34
Swain 6' 200# 4.46
Dareke young 6'2" 225# 4.44

It appears to be that Seattle has a solid top 2 like they did last year but the depth appears to be better than in the past.

Reminds me of Phillip Dorsett. I have similar expectations. 1 catch for three yards.

He is obviously not signed to be a #1, or #2, but I see him competing with Bo, Dareke, Swain, and Dee.

I am hoping we get Dareke and 2 of the smaller speed guys.

Does Freddie Swain even project to make the team at this point?

Don't know if I would say the WR room has depth. After the top two we are horribly thin. Another second year guy that is hyped because we didn't get to see what he could do since he was hurt his entire rookie year, a tiny guy we just signed that used to run fast and a hand full of guys that haven't ever done shit in the league.

Yeah and Dorsett was supposed to compete to be #3 as well. I shall believe it when I see it. At least Dorsett was on the right side of the 30 yo.

Swain is prob the front runner to be #3 unless the kid from Rutgers goes crazy Camp/Pre season.

100% agree. OK, 94% agree. I don't think we're "horribly" thin, I think we're better off at WR than most of the league, but the gist of it I agree with. Eskridge I think could really be a quality #3 or better, but there's no way to know. He might be the next Paul Richardson. I don't see getting excited about 7th rounders that we've never seen play, and Goodwin has Olympic speed but really hasn't done shit with it. The other guys are adequate for #4 and 5, but nothing to be excited about.

I kinda worry that they're being Raider-esque about wanting all the speed and ignoring the slow white guy possession type receivers that actually win games for you.

Loved me some Joe Jarzynka and Paul Skansi! And who was the big bodied white dude that played in the Holmgren days? Joe Jurevicius?

Pats made pretty good use of Welker and Edelman as well....
