Aaron Donald
The Los Angeles Rams restructured Donald's contract to make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, per a source. The team has since announced the news.
No new years were added to Donald's contract, which now guarantees him $65 million over the next two seasons and $95 million through the 2024 season, Rapoport added. In all, Donald nets a $40 million raise over his previous contract, which carried a base salary of just $9.25 million into the 2022 season.

It's interesting how team friendly RWs contract had become
Re: Aaron Donald
I mean i love getting the two new tackles, but can they play center? another $30 M guaranteed in the THIRD year ??? so much for the quick rebuild, even if the top QB we get next draft lights it up.

Re: Aaron Donald
The Rams are done. They sold out for a championship and got it and now they have to pay for it. This off season they have been forced to dump a lot of salary. They had to trade Robert Woods, They had to cut Johnny Hecker, They lost Von Miller, They lost 2 starters off their O-line and replaced them with scrap heap guys and they also lost a starting Corner. They just paid Stafford 40 Million a year and back loaded it so that he costs more next year. and they did the same with Donald. All of that and they are still over the cap right now. That's bad but it gets worse next year. They have 240 Million due to be paid next year which is predicted to be 22 Million over the cap. Its going to be a fire sale to clear space and they have no draft picks to restock talent. By contrast the Hawks have 160 Million on the books for 2023 which gives them 58 Million of cap space and two picks in the first and second rounds.

Re: Aaron Donald
PFF has them 3rd
3. LOS ANGELES RAMS
The defending Super Bowl Champions are already being disrespected! Before we go overboard, remember that the Rams were the No. 4 seed a year ago and needed Matthew Stafford to up his play from an 80.7 regular season PFF grade to 89.5 in the postseason to go on the run that they did. The Rams also lost critical parts of the roster, as Robert Woods, Odell Beckham Jr., Sebastian Joseph-Day and Von Miller now play elsewhere. The Rams added Allen Robinson and Bobby Wagner to help offset those losses, but there’s a good chance that, at best, they have taken a sideways step in an offseason where several contenders got better.

These salaries are getting out of control, lol. QB's get 50mill, WR's get 30 mill, soon any position that is being played at an all-star level is going to demand 20mill+ . Its going to be impossible to keep a good team together anymore as teams will only be able to have 2-3 superstars on the team and the are all going to be playing 2mill or less. 100mill in 3 players leaves you 108mill to fill the other 50 spots on your team.

How can they be out of control when there is a salary cap
