Yeah maybe. Makes more sense than Jake Heaps coaching RW to be a better QB.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 3:51 pmSince they used the term "personal coach" i take it he won't be a Broncos employee. I wonder if he is taking the place of RW's former life coach.

I wonder if he will live with Russell and Ciara in their house, like a Caito Cailin - OJ type of situation.

He has been coaching for years so I don't see anything new there, I guess now that he is in Denver heeps needed to quit his Seattle gig

He wasn't a successful QB but hit the jack pot in the important things in life.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 7:38 pmHe has been coaching for years so I don't see anything new there, I guess now that he is in Denver heeps needed to quit his Seattle gig

Re: Platoon at RT?
you don't see platooning on O-Lines because they have to work together as one group, so continuity is more important than a small advantage in run or pass blocking. What you MIGHT see is a George Fant type situation where you essentially have 6 linemen.

Re: Platoon at RT?
The assumption behind the proposed scenario was that the advantage of using one over the other depending on the situation wouldn't be small. Besides, they can develop "continuity" during practices.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 6:07 amyou don't see platooning on O-Lines because they have to work together as one group, so continuity is more important than a small advantage in run or pass blocking. I would think continuity and working together would be significantly different on pass plays vs. run plays.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 2:02 pmThe assumption behind the proposed scenario was that the advantage of using one over the other depending on the situation wouldn't be small. Re: Platoon at RT?
I'm not sure i understand what the issue is with regard to "continuity". Is that about getting plays in and lining up in a timely manner or about camaraderie or something else?
Re: Platoon at RT?
On running plays there is a lot of coordination in terms of blocking schemes so you would ideally have the same 5 guys almost blocking as one. The more reps with the same 5 guys, the better.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 2:58 pmI'm not sure i understand what the issue is with regard to "continuity".
