https://www.fieldgulls.com/2022/6/13/23 ... -nfl-worstThe optimist says this Seahawks OL with the young players on the squad — Lewis, Cross, Lucas, maybe even Jake Curhan — can be good down the line. Realistically they likely will be bad in 2022, but we’re battle-tested fans who know a thing or two about wretched play. This could be bad with a payoff of being good later, as opposed to that 2016-2017 group that made you question whether there was an effort to get Russell Wilson and every running back on the squad maimed.

PFF ranks our O line dead last
mainly due to the "crash and burn" potential of the rookies but also because they see Gabe Jackson as washed up.

Something about him creeps me out. Would rather they start Lock/Smith and play for draft position.

Salk is now advocating for signing Garappolo. So what would it cost, $25 mil? The rest of the team is not going to be good enough to make whatever advantage over Lock/Smith that he brings worthwhile. This isn't the 2019 49ers.
Re: PFF ranks our O line dead last
It is insane. I want to see what we have in Lock and see if we can hit the lottery with an above average cost controlled young QB again.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 2:48 pmSalk is now advocating for signing Garappolo. The funny thing is, Jimmy G. would have started at QB in the Super Bowl if Tart doesn't drop one of the easiest interceptions I've ever seen.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 3:12 pmIt is insane. How much do you think he would get on the FA market and do you think it would be worth paying him that for a team like the Seahawks? With all those draft picks i'd rather not finish any better record-wise than 5 wins.

Yeah, I’d rather stick with what we have and see if we can get a QB next year. I am not sure this team is a QB away, and if they are, I am REALLY not sure that QB is Jimmy G.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 4:34 pmHow much do you think he would get on the FA market and do you think it would be worth paying him that for a team like the Seahawks? Just root for the Broncos to lose instead so we get their high picks...Win Win as they Lose Lose.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 4:34 pmHow much do you think he would get on the FA market and do you think it would be worth paying him that for a team like the Seahawks?
