Everybody is hung up on this $50 mil deal. Thing is that "huge" contract he got as a Hawk is a deal now. If a team was just a QB away from a SB then going after a guy like RW make sense, ie the Rams and Stafford
Stafford was only marginally better than Jared Goff. The Rams have dudes like Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp is why they're tough AF.

LOL. Ick!

50 seconds of him stroking himself and not one highlight.

Self-Love. So beautiful to see.

Donald played on the team that lost to the Pats. So did the NFL MVP Todd Gurley. Goff was TERRIBLE against the Pats. That team wins with just about any NFL QB not named Goff. Sorry, I watched that Super Bowl in its entirety. Goff was pathetic. If Stafford QB’d that team they might have gone 19 and 0. That team had Brandon Cooks, Cooper Krupp and Robert Woods at WR as well as Gurley. Brokers, Fowler Jr and Suh on the D Line with Donald, Marcus Peters in his prime and a play caller the League couldn’t figure out. Sorry, if you watched those two Rams teams and don’t see QB play as the differentiater? We’ll have to disagree.

Fuck, look at Stafford’s numbers with the Lions and then Goff’s. We should all thank God it took the Rams this long to find a QB.

I didn't think Stafford would be enough to put them over the top because while I thought he was better I didn't realize how much better. I was wrong. Dead wrong.

The biggest factor in that Super Bowl was scheme - the Pats used a defensive scheme they had not used all year - hence the lambs had not studied it on film and Goff was confused by the looks he was getting and the matchups. They may have dropped nine back to kills all passing lanes. That game was Bellichick thoroughly outcoaching McVey. Stafford is the better QB, for sure, but that Lambs team was also likely more talented than that Pats team - but they got smoked by vastly superior coaching and strategy.

Don't agree, Stafford is clearly better

Couple areas mark the difference between Stafford and Goff. A strong running game benefits a QB to put up his numbers. Goff had one in LA, Stafford didn't. Also Stafford performs well under pressure, Goff doesn't. Stafford performed well without a run game or Oline, he must have felt like he had died and gone to heaven with LAs oline and run game
