man there's a lot of guys on defense I don't recognize.

Weird seeing Pickett playing against us after so many mocks had him going to us.

if I never see the Seahawks try that stupid fucking WR bubble screen again, it'll be too soon.

It's a guaranteed 2 yard loss every damn time.

that sack/fumble was on Lock. He didn't read the D, didn't see the blitz.

Totally misread the d.

Then again I’m sure that’s on his OC like the excuses for him in Denver. We have two backup talent QBs to choose a starter from.

Bad is bad.

Guess McVey's offense is known for screens, and with success, it was thought Waldren would be using them with the Hawks
After all, the newlywed Waldron arrived from a Rams attack stocked deep with effective screens. The Rams’ proficiency on screen plays was especially obvious versus the Seahawks themselves, where the Seattle defense experienced repeated difficulty versus these concepts. Surely Waldron would be able to introduce similar screen success to the Pacific Northwest?

Lock took full blame for the play, saying he needed to make a change at the line of scrimmage to either get Robinson blocked or make sure he got rid of the ball more quickly.

“I could have handled that better,’’ Lock said, “Could have flipped the pro (protection), could have played a hot (read receiver). As a quarterback, you’re always able to fix those things and I’ll always take it on the chest and I could have been better there.’’

But until then, Lock — who again worked solely behind the No. 2 offensive line — turned in his second consecutive game that was statistically better than that of Smith, the other coming last Saturday in Seattle’s mock game at Lumen Field.

Lock, who played the entire second half, was 11 of 15 passing for 102 yards with two touchdowns and a 131.1 passer rating while Smith, who played the entire first half behind the No. 1 offensive line, was 10 of 15 for 101 yards and no touchdowns and an 85.7 passer rating.

So Lock a had chance in the Mock game and this game to finish like a champ but overthrew a wide open Molden on a bomb in the Mock game and fumbled in this game. Maybe next game.
