I don't know who Dunn is, but the top of the defensive rankings makes perfect sense. Not sure I am buying the offense though, it's either that, or all the bitching about O Line in the past was bullshit! LOL

The far right column is snaps so Dunn was literally One and Dunn..Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 5:26 pmI don't know who Dunn is, but the top of the defensive rankings makes perfect sense. Still, we run the ball very well and the QB stays for the most part up right, but our first lineman shows up as 10th on the offense?
Again, people either need to stop with the "it's all about the line" stuff, or realize that PFF has no clue how to grade a lineman.

We were ranked 14th prior to the Giants. That seems reasonable.Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 5:37 pmStill, we run the ball very well and the QB stays for the most part up right, but our first lineman shows up as 10th on the offense?

It's mainly because the Seahawks are above average at all the skill positions.
Re: Weekly PFF grades thread
Right. Lucas is also above average. I don't know exactly what average is but sense is it is low 60sSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 5:51 pmIt's mainly because the Seahawks are above average at all the skill positions.

Again, my point is, all the complaining in years past about the offense stinks because of the O Line? Sorry, we were not that bad up front. The year that Russell spent the offseason talking about being hit to much his O Line was top 10 in Pass Block Win %. They were excuses to mask a bigger problem, which, I now believe was Russ.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 5:51 pmIt's mainly because the Seahawks are above average at all the skill positions.
He broke the huddle too late, he couldn't see the middle of the field and he couldn't read defenses or audible to a better play. All of those things are happening now. Russ saved his ass by being able to spin around and escape pressure backwards, then get outside the pocket. That isn't necessary when you can see the middle of the field and don't hold the ball too long.
