From a statistical standpoint, next week's matchup looks really ugly.

After watching the NY vs Dallas game I’m sure glad Criss was there at our pick and not Neal. Neal from Alabama looks horrible. At least Cross is doing his job, Neal was just horrid.

Why do the individual pass and run block grades not correspond to the overall grade for O linemen? What else are they being graded on? If it's ST, wouldn't punt and FG blocking be the same as pass blocking?
Re: Weekly PFF grades thread
I think if you are low or high on both, your overall will be higher or lower than the components.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Sep 27, 2022 4:19 pmWhy do the individual pass and run block grades not correspond to the overall grade for O linemen? For example on my GMATs I had the exact same scores for Math and Verbal. Good but not great. In the 80th percentile if I recall. But because most people are only great at one or the other so maybe a 90 in math but a 50 in Verbal or vice versa. my combined score was in the 90s, higher than both components.
Kind of like a team 5th in pass defense AND run defense will be top 2 or three on total yards.
